Austintown Senior Center, 100 Westchester Drive, has planned the following: Monday, Walking Club at 9 a.m., blood pressure checks and painting class ($5) at 9:30, bingo at 10, lunch at 11:30, and intermediate computer at noon; Tuesday, computer practice at 9:30 a.m., Veterans Helping Veterans at 10, line dancing and bridge club at 10:30, lunch at 11:30 and bingo at noon, and Movie Night at the Center, “The Quiet Man” at 6 p.m.; Wednesday, Walking Club and health insurance information at 9 a.m., bingo at 10 and lunch at 11:30; Thursday, balance class at 9:30, lunch at 11:30 and bingo at noon; and Friday, Walking Club at 9 a.m., bingo and discussion group at 10, lunch at 11:30 a.m. and beginners computer class at noon. Trumbull County Senior Court AARP Driver’s Safety Program offers a certified instructor to provide a review of driving skills and techniques as well as strategies to help seniors adjust to physical changes that may affect their driving ability. The cost is $12 for AARP members and $14 for nonmembers. The next class will take place from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Lordstown SCOPE. There also is a free senior driver’s safety program for veterans and their spouses.
