The Youngstown State football team trails Southern Illinois 17-7 at halftime of Saturday's Missouri Valley game in Carbondale, Ill.

Adaris Bellamy scored a 2-yard TD early in the second quarter before the Salukis scored 10 to close the half.

YSU has been hurt by two lost fumbles, both in SIU territory, and several costly penalties.
