Mount Union offers private music lessons

Staff report

Alliance

The University of Mount Union’s Preparatory Division is offering music lessons for individuals of all ages.

Private instrumental and vocal lessons are available in piano, voice, guitar, clarinet, trombone, percussion, violin, cello, flute, trumpet and saxophone.

Faculty members from Mount Union’s Department of Music teach the music lessons, which all last for 15 weeks during the fall, spring and summer semesters on campus.

Each instructor is trained and is specialized in the training of individuals of all ages and stages of musical development.

For convenience, lessons are arranged at a time agreed upon by both the teacher and student.

Aside from private lessons, students who participate in the Preparatory Division will perform in a musical concert each semester.

Registration has begun for the fall semester, and lessons still are being scheduled.

To register for lessons and for cost information, call 330-823-2180.

Both registration and payment must be completed in order for lessons to begin.
