Cardinal Mooney High School, 2545 Erie St., will host a Parent Information Night at 7 p.m. Oct. 25 in the school auditorium.

Parents of seventh- and eighth-grade students considering enrolling their sons or daughters in the school are invited.

Members of the school’s administration will explain the school’s curriculum, extracurricular programs, school policies and financial-aid opportunities. In addition, information concerning enrollment procedures also will be available.

The Women’s Committee of the Youngstown Symphony Society is mailing reservation fliers out to sign up for the Symphony Youth concert in March.

Schools in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties, as well as Mercer County in Pennsylvania, will receive the information.

Anyone who doesn’t receive a flyer by month’s end and is interested may call Jan at 330-799-4697.

The theme of the concert is “It don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing.”
