Youngstown-area Rotary clubs host combined meeting

Henry “Hank” Shea, one of the country’s most effective white-collar crime prosecutors, will be the speaker Oct. 18 during a combined meeting of the Austintown, Boardman, Canfield, Poland, Struthers and Youngstown Rotary Clubs at the Holiday Inn in Boardman.

Shea is a Fellow of the Hollaran Center for Ethical Leadership in the Professions and a former Assistant U.S. Attorney. Between 1994 and 1998, Shea served as the Chief of his Office’s Economic Crime Section. His presentation will emphasize ethics and integrity in one’s life and in public life.

Shea will be joined by Rich Juliano, former Illinois Governor Ryan’s deputy campaign manager in the 1998 governor’s race, who will talk about his one count of mail fraud while working for Ryan. Juliano will also address his participation in Shea’s program.

The following day, Shea and Juliano will be spending time with area high school students discussing similar topics at Austintown High School at 10 a.m.

The Rotary event will begin at 11:45 a.m. and Shea’s presentation will begin at 12:15 p.m.
