Theater company presents Aesop’s Fables

Move Over Broadway Productions has provided quality live-theatre entertainment, to the community, for the past 17 years. This year offers something new – a touring company, called the Fable Factory.

The Fable Factory will bring live entertainment to area schools, libraries, senior centers, birthday parties, etc., with its version of Aesop’s Fables.

Aesop’s Fables is a collection of stories credited to a story-teller, Aesop, who lived in ancient Greece during the 5th century. These stories contain sharp insights, gentle humor and morals. The fables remain a popular choice for moral education of children today.

Aesop’s Fables is performed by adults and intended for ages preschool through fifth grade, but is entertaining for all ages. Move Over Broadway Productions will bring a fully staged, self-contained, 35-40 minute production for a fee.

Aesop’s Fables is directed by Marlene Menaldi Strollo and features seasoned community theatre performers Terry Shears, Grace Vouvalis and JoAnne Santagata.
