CLASSES

South High School of 1953 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Johnny’s on Market Street in Boardman. Those in attendance will plan this year’s Christmas party.

Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1953 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Johnny’s on Market Street in Boardman. Guests are welcome.

CLUBS

Chapter CE of PEO Sisterhood will meet Wednesday at A La Cart in Canfield for a noon lunch and meeting. A program on historical wall quilts will be presented by Caroline Martens. Hostesses will be Ruth Williams and Karen Dennison.

Kent State Mothers Club will meet at noon Wednesday at Lucianno’s, 1739 S. Raccoon Road, Austintown. The program will be a home products demonstration by Flo Vulich. That Quilt Group I Belong To will have its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Fair Park, Canfield. The program will be show and tell, with members taking prize-winning quilts from the Canfield Fair and Stan Hywet Show. Western Reserve Amateur Radio Club will have WRARC Ham Radio extra class training sessions beginning at 7 p.m. Oct. 26 at Mahoning County EMA, 700 Industrial Road. Testing will be Dec. 21. Youngstown Torch Club will have a dinner meeting at 6 p.m. Monday in Bresnahan Suites I and II in Kilcawley Center, on the campus of Youngstown State University. The speaker will be Janet Moy-LaMonica, retired director of the Henderson Memorial Public Library in Jefferson, Ohio, who will discuss her use of hypnosis to effect a pain-free recovery from double hip replacement surgery. Holborn Herb Growers Guild will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Colonial Inn at the Canfield Fairgrounds. LEAGUES

Wilmington Township, Mercer County, Civic League meeting Tuesday will feature as speaker Judge Thomas Dobson of the Mercer County Court of Common Pleas. The meeting will be at the township building, 35 Auction Road, at 7:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Court Bishop James McFadden 1650, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, will have its regular meeting at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 27 at Sunrise Assisted Living, 335 McKinley Way West, Poland.
