City man indicted on murder of Jack Manigault
YOUNGSTOWN — A Mahoning County grand jury has indicted a 22-year-old city man accused in a murder that grabbed national headlines.
Marco Cardenas of Plymouth Avenue was indicted on counts of aggravated murder, felonious assault and aggravated burglary. He is accused of shooting Jack Manigault, 40, of East Avondale Avenue as he lay in bed with his girlfriend.
Manigault is the brother of Omarosa Manigault, a Mahoning Valley native who has starred on reality shows such as “The Apprentice.”
Cardenas could receive a life sentence if convicted on all charges.
