Back in court
YOUNGSTOWN
A 21-year-old man will be back in court Oct. 20 to answer to charges of public indecency, obstructing official business and resisting arrest in a Monday incident that occurred near the Youngstown State University campus.
Police said Curtis Parker was arrested about 8:30 a.m. Monday.
Reports state a 41-year-old woman was entering her car on Broadway near Wick Park when a man exposed himself in her view.
She entered her car, locked it and saw the man walking close to her passenger doors and masturbating, police said. The woman drove away, and when the man began following her, she called 911. A YSU police officer on Elm Street helped until the suspect, identified as Parker, was caught in the 800 block of Elm Street, close to Parker’s local university address, police said.
Asking for help

Police are asking the public for help to find a silver Pontiac believed to be involved in a weekend hit-and-run accident.

The man, who was dragged along the sidewalk by the car, was taken to a hospital for injuries to his ear and head, Patton said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Patton at 330-726-4150, ext. 1297, or Sgt. John Allsopp at 330-729-2096.
