NEO gas prices increase more than 3 cents
Northeast Ohio motorists will be paying more this week at the pump.
The average price for a gallon of regular, unleaded gasoline has increased 3.3 cents to $3.249. This follows four consecutive weeks of declining gas prices, totaling a 43.3 cent drop.
According to AAA’s Fuel Gauge, crude oil traded higher today, settling at $85.41 at the close of formal trading on the NYMEX, driven by a broadly weaker U.S. dollar and optimism regarding the euro zone debt crisis, after Germany and France pledged over the weekend to tackle the Greek sovereign debt crisis and to shore-up struggling European banks.
