Miss Higham, Mr. Drayo to wed in November rite

Dr. Richard and Karen Higham of Poland are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Lea Higham, to John David Drayo, both of Fredonia, N.Y.

Parents of the future groom are Samuel L. Drayo Jr. of Fredonia and Susan and Leonard Star of Hudson, Ohio.

St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown will be the setting Nov. 12 for the 2 p.m. wedding. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for a reception that evening at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown.

The bride-elect graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in integrated language arts. She is a benefits manager with Cott Beverages in Dunkirk, N.Y.

The prospective groom earned a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a juris doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law. He is an attorney with Drayo Law Office in Fredonia.
