Library aims to educate kids about finances

The Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County has teamed up with Boardman-based Farris Marketing to promote its Smart Money for Kids program through a television commercial.

The animated spot, which depicts a boy looking at money growing on trees, shooting out of an ATM and floating from the sky, was created by Farris animators.

Smart Money for Kids was created as part of a “Get Smart with Your Money” grant from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Investor Education Foundation and aims to educate children about finances.
