SALINEVILLE

A Western Reserve High School student was seriously injured by a hit-and-run driver Friday night after her school’s football game at Southern Local on state Route 39.

The victim, Tori Korda of Berlin Center, was flown to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Boardman, where she was listed in stable condition that night. Her condition Sunday was unavailable.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said Korda was walking along Route 39 with friends going to their vehicle when she was struck by a pickup truck. The patrol described the vehicle of interest as a gray or white 2011 Ford extended-cab pickup with damage on the passenger side.
