Austintown Senior Center, 100 Westchester Drive, has planned the following: Monday, Walking Club at 9 a.m., blood pressure checks and painting class ($5) at 9:30, bingo at 10, lunch, Ask the Social Worker and flu shots at 11:30, and intermediate computer at noon; Tuesday, computer practice at 9:30 a.m., Veterans Helping Veterans and Zumba at 10, bridge club at 10:30, lunch at 11:30 and bingo at noon; Wednesday, Walking Club and health insurance information at 9 a.m., bingo at 10 and lunch at 11:30; Thursday, trip to Hartville Flea Market leaves the center at 9 a.m., yoga and balance class at 9:30, lunch at 11:30 and bingo at noon; and Friday, Walking Club at 9 a.m., bingo and discussion group at 10, lunch at 11:30 a.m. and beginners computer class at noon. Friday also is Wear Your Senior Shirt Day; if you don’t have one, you may buy one. The center is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. Lordstown SCOPE Senior Center, 1776 Salt Springs Road, behind Gordon D. James Career Center, is offering 50 free flu shots. They will be administered by Humility of Mary Health Partners on Oct. 27. Call the center at 330-824-2173 to make a reservation. The center also will entertain the public with a Mystery Dinner Theater on Oct. 21. “The Murder at the Toadwart Inn” will begin at 6 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres and includes a spaghetti dinner. Activities for the week follow: music therapy and Wii bowling 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Wednesday and Friday; learn to play bridge, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; woodcarving, 10 a.m. to noon, and chair yoga, 1 p.m., both Wednesday; and bingo, 10 a.m. Friday. In addition, a sketching class from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday will feature Larry James as the instructor and will cost $3.
