1418 Auxiliary Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Nicholas Church’s Great Hall on Fifth Street, Struthers. John Texter will preside. Golden Pillars will meet for an 11 a.m. liturgy Tuesday prior to a monthly meeting at noon at St. Mary Assumption Social Center, 356 S. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown. Guests for lunch will be seminarians from the Byzantine Seminary in Presov, Slovakia, who are touring the United States. Mary Novak will preside, birthdays and anniversaries will be observed, and cards and bingo will be played. Members are reminded to take their own place setting for the luncheon.
J.C. Penney Retirees will meet for lunch at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Denny’s in Boardman.
Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Douglas Martin will give the devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. Police & Fire Retirees of Ohio, District 2, Chapter 10 (Mahoning and Columbiana counties) will meet at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Brandywine Clubhouse, 3390 Flo-Lor Drive, Youngstown (note the time change). Tina Adamson, human resource director of Ohio NE Health Systems, will be the guest speaker. All retirees and DROP participants of the Ohio Police and Fire Disability and Pension Fund living in Mahoning and Columbiana counties, along with their spouses or survivors, are welcome.
