The Youngstown State football team leads South Dakota State 28-21 after three quarters in Saturday's game at Stambaugh Stadium.

The Penguins scored on a 48-yard TD pass from Kurt Hess to Jelani Berassa and a 27-yard interception return by Davion Rogers.
