Sept. 20

Theft: Clarence A. Robinson, 50, of 3450 Stratmore Ave., Youngstown, was charged with stealing three articles of clothing from Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.

Voyeurism: A woman told police she noticed a camera device aimed toward her while in a booth at a township tanning salon.

Theft: Two Xbox games were stolen from Best Buy, 561 Boardman-Poland Road.

Trespassing: Officers were told a man was in Home Depot, 7001 Southern Blvd., despite his having been warned not to be on the property.

Theft: Lisa M. Snyder, 28, of 4569 Kennedy Road, Lowellville, was charged with stealing $81 worth of merchandise from Kmart, 1209 Boardman-Poland Road.

Attempted theft: A Flagler Lane woman noticed her vehicle had been ransacked.

Harassment: A Youngstown boy in the 5100 block of Market Street told police a man in his 30s on a bicycle asked him to engage in sexual activity, which the man denied.

Theft: A $250 global-positioning-system unit was removed from a car in the 100 block of Harrow Lane.

Aggravated menacing: An Indian Trail man pulling into his driveway reported another driver nearly hit him, then threatened to shoot him in the head.

Criminal damaging/theft of services: An employee of a business in the 4300 block of Market Street noticed graffiti had been spray-painted on a wall, and that someone used the company’s trash bin without permission.

Theft: A man in his mid-30s stole a $140 pair of shoes from a Southern Park Mall store.

Theft: Kristopher C. Scandy, 34, of 1846 Chapel Hill Drive, Youngstown, and Charles R. Borton, 25, of 196 Lowell Ave., Youngstown, were charged, accused of taking 22 copper fittings from Home Depot. Borton also faced a felony count of possession of Suboxone when, police said, two pills were in his pocket.

Domestic violence: Raymond J. Petrus, 45, of 1904 Cover Drive, Poland, faced two misdemeanor counts after his wife and daughter alleged he had pushed them backward, causing them to fall, and when Petrus’ daughter alleged he had kicked her stomach.

Sept. 21

Breaking and entering: Someone lifted a chain-link fence and entered an Ohio Edison Co. substation in the 6400 block of Southern Boulevard before taking about 100 feet of copper wiring and a copper jumper device.

Theft: A West Boulevard man found out his debit card had been used without authorization at a Hillman Way bank.

Theft: A woman stolen $213 worth of baby clothing from Babies “R” Us, The Baby Super Store, 1240 Doral Drive.

Burglary: To a residence in the 6100 block of Glenwood Avenue through a rear door. Numerous pieces of jewelry, a .357-caliber revolver, a Sony PlayStation system and other property was stolen.

Robbery: Police responded to a disabled vehicle on Shields Road, where they arrested 45-year-old Kenneth J. Kadilak Sr., 342 Sixth St., Campbell, who was wanted on a robbery warrant from that city. Kadilak also was cited on a charge of marijuana possession.

Sept. 22

Burglary: A laptop computer, $500, jewelry and credit cards were missing after a break-in at a Maple Drive residence.

Drugs: Police on Doral Drive picked up 22-year-old Ashley A. Wilkinson, who was wanted on a felony warrant charging her with receiving stolen property. Wilkinson, of 177 Marion St., Struthers, also faced drug-related charges when, officers said, two needles and a bindle of suspected heroin, as well as 18 Vicodin tablets in a cigarette pack, were found.

Theft: A Poland boy, 17, faced a felony count after his mother, of Wendy Lane, noticed seven unauthorized withdrawals totaling $1,800. The teen also was wanted on two warrants from the Martin P. Joyce Juvenile Justice Center.

Theft: A woman in her late 20s stole a box of tablets from Rite Aid Pharmacy, 307 Boardman-Canfield Road, then fled on foot.

Theft: A GPS device, a lunch pail and a pair of sunglasses were removed from a truck at a Boardman-Canfield Road business.

Arrest: Police charged 57-year-old Harry D. Jones, 64 Willow Drive, Boardman, with identity fraud, a felony, as well as obstructing official business and possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors.

Arrest: Authorities charged 34-year-old Marc A. Chicase, 4811 Westchester Drive, Austintown, with public indecency after a woman at a Boardman-Poland Road store said she saw a man in a vehicle exposing himself.

Sept. 23

Theft: A man left Buffalo Wild Wings in the Southern Park Mall without paying his $59.68 tab.

Theft: Police took into custody Kristen N. Snyder, 28, and Joel A. Gonzalez, both of 485 Brookfield Ave., Boardman, who were wanted on two felony theft charges. They were accused of having a large quantity of jewelry that had been stolen from Kohl’s, 383 Boardman-Poland Road.

Drugs: A traffic stop on U.S. Route 224 resulted in 21-year-old Shayla N. Veal’s being charged with possession of drugs, a felony. Veal, of 23 Clifton Drive, Boardman, had a narcotic in her purse but no prescription, a report said.

Theft: Brian K. Boerio III and Korina A. Copley, both 21 and of 2523 E. Midlothian Blvd., Struthers, were accused in the theft of a cellphone case from Walmart.

Identity fraud: A Presidential Drive man discovered a $130 fraudulent charge to his debit card.

Theft: Officers charged 48-year-old Lisa Price, 609 Squirrel Hill Drive, Boardman, with taking a shirt and a jacket from Macy’s.

Arrest: Daniel J. Niehorster, 24, of 4641 South Ave., Boardman, was picked up in the 7400 block of Market Street on charges of resisting arrest, public indecency and obstructing official business.

Stolen property: A worker with a Southern Park Mall store reported a man brought in several pieces of jewelry that had likely been stolen from the J.C. Penney store, also in the mall.

Menacing: A Melrose Avenue woman said two neighbors have been continually pounding on her windows and door.

Recovered property: Youngstown police found a 2011 Kia vehicle that had been reported stolen on Lealand Avenue.

Sept. 24

Theft: Police booked 33-year-old Cynthia Torres, 210 Kendis Circle, Youngstown, after she was accused of stealing two T-shirts from Walmart. Torres was released on a summons.

Theft: Damian J. Trott, 19, of 1918 W. Washington St., New Castle, Pa., was charged with taking a $49.50 coat from Macy’s in the Southern Park Mall.

Burglary: Occurred in the 2300 block of Hunters Ridge Drive via a garage door. Among items stolen were a DVD player, a bottle of wine and a backpack.

Theft: The rear license plate was stolen off a vehicle in the 4000 block of South Avenue.

Theft: A wallet, a camera and other items were missing from a vehicle in the 7700 block of Hunters Court.

Auto theft: Brittany A. Satterfield, 20, of 8222 Parker Road, Orwell, faced an auto-theft charge after a Firnley Avenue woman told police she had loaned her car to Satterfield, who deliberately failed to return it.

Theft: Brandon J. Turjonis, 23, of 13673 Beaver-Springfield Road, New Springfield, faced a felony count after 25 pieces of sterling-silver jewelry were stolen from Kohl’s. Turjonis also was wanted on a contempt-of-court charge.

Domestic violence: Shawn P. Douglas, 36, was taken into custody at his home, 459 Mathews Road, Boardman, and charged with the crime after his girlfriend alleged Douglas had pushed her during an argument.

Arrest: Leby H. Sassya, 40, of 1463 Stanley Drive SE, Girard, was charged with menacing by stalking, a fourth-degree felony, as well as carrying a concealed weapon – a large knife – and obstructing official business, both misdemeanors, after police responded to a call at a Route 224 restaurant. The former wife of Sassya alleged he has been continually stalking her.
