MSWCD selling local bird seed, feeders, houses, bat condos, owl nestboxes

YOUNGSTOWN

Mahoning Soil and Water Conservation District, 850 Industrial Road, is selling locally grown wild bird seed.

Varieties available are 25-pound bag of mixed bird seed for $10; 25-pound bag of black oil sunflower seed for $16; and 10-pound bag of thistle seed for $9. Call 330-740-7995 to order.

Bags may be picked up daily from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays at the district office.

Also available are cedar bird feeders and birdhouses.

These include hanging corner feeder with removable screen, $30.71; single-cake suet feeder with stainless steel wire, $19.08; bluebird feeder, $36.60; squirrel pinwheel, $18.39; three-chamber bat house, $51.13; and screech owl nestbox, $56.63.
