Men from Mineral Ridge, Warren plead to gambling charges

NILES

Two men have pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor gambling charge that followed an investigation at R&R Video, 28 E. Park Ave.

Kenneth E. Fox, 55, of Williamson Street, Mineral Ridge, and David W. Mullins, 53, of Indian Trail, Warren, entered no contest pleas Friday to operating a gambling house in Niles Municipal Court.

They were found guilty and fined $250 plus court costs.

They were cited this week by Niles police after an

investigation that included

undercover officers playing the games. Armed with a search warrant, police seized 15 computers from the business that had been hooked up to a gambling network, police said.
