Flu shots in Niles next week

Niles City Health Department, 34 W. State St., will offer flu shots for adults and children.

Flu shots for those 18 and older will be given from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the health department, 34 W. State St.

Participants must provide Medicare, Medicaid or Anthem Senior Advantage identification cards. For all other HMOs, including Medicare Complete and Aetna Medicare, the cost will be $20.

Flu shots for children, 6 months to 18 years old, will be given from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Friday at Niles Senior Citizen Center, 14 E. State St.

The cost will be $3. There is no charge for those on Medicaid or those without health insurance. No appointments are required.
