Canfield golfers beats Mooney
The Canfield boys golf team defeated Cardinal Mooney 157-162. Dom Carano, Scott McMurray and Will Keffler all led the Cardinals with a score of 39. Others contributing to Canfield’s victory were Joe Benson (40) and Adam Bouch (44).
Glow Golf Outing set for Oct. 15
The Boardman-Poland Junior Women’s League is sponsoring a Glow Golf Outing on Oct. 15 at 7:00 p.m. at Knoll Run Golf Course, 1421 Struthers Coitsville Road.
The cost is $25 per player with four person teams. The cost includes nine holes of golf and cart, light meal with a cash bar available, 50/50 raffle, Chinese auction and more. The deadline to register is Saturday.
The outing will benefit the league’s Community Special Needs.
