ASSOCIATIONS

Mill Creek Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Blue Wolf Banquet and Catering Center on Lockwood Boulevard, Boardman. The meeting will begin at 6:30 with fall enrollment and Malinda Gavin from the Sojourner House as the guest speaker. Tri-Gold Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association will meet Wednesday at the Grand Buffet on Market Street. A social at 5:30 p.m. will precede the meeting at 6. Girard Golden Eagles will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday at Girard Free Library, 105 E. Prospect St.

McDonald Midget Football Association will meet at 6 p.m. Sunday in the community room at the post office building.

CLASSES

Campbell Memorial High School Class of 1963 will meet at noon Wednesday at Danny Boys, 1315 Boardman-Canfield Road (the old Oscar’s and Jeremiah Bullfrog’s), Boardman. For directions call the restaurant at 330-726-3726.

Woodrow Wilson High School January and June Classes of 1947 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s in Boardman. Members of the classes of 1946 and 1948 are welcome.

CLUBS

Mahoning Valley Stamp Club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at Highway Tabernacle, 3000 S. Raccoon Road, Austintown. The club meets the second Thursday of each month.

Retreads of Mahoning Valley, a group of motorcyclists, will meet Saturday at Denny’s on Route 224, across from the Boardman Plaza. Lunch will be at 1 p.m., and the meeting follows. Membership is $15 a year.

GUILDS

McDonald Literary Guild will meet at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Woodland Park United Methodist Church.

Western Reserve Knitting Guild will have a regular meeting Tuesday at Fair Park in Canfield. For inspiration on Christmas knitting, there will be a Knit Wit trunk show with yarns, patterns and suggestions to help members get started.

RELIGIOUS GROUPS

Junior Seton Circle will meet at noon Thursday at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. A program will be given by Atty. Timothy Brookes about Pretty Boy Floyd. Hostesses will be Judy Rehak, chairman, and Fran Sullivan, Gerry Mansour and Clark Vanderhoof.

Mount Carmel Society of St. Rose Church will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Rosetta Hall, the lower church.

Seton III will meet Thursday for a noon luncheon at the Saxon Club, 710 Meridian Road, Austintown. The program will be presented by Linda Kostka, director of marketing and development for Mill Creek MetroParks, who will give updates and discuss the park system. Hostesses are Marian Baker and Pat Eddy.

St. Rose Quilting Group will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the parish house.

SERVICE CLUBS

Girard-Liberty Kiwanis will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Golf Dome, 1300 N. State St., Girard.

McDonald Lions Club will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday on the second floor of the Retirement Center, 550 Ohio Ave.

SINGLES

DARE Singles Group is a social group for divorced, widowed and separated people. The group meets at 7:30 p.m. each Thursday at Disciples Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Road, across from Giant Eagle. The following activities are planned: Tuesday, 7 p.m. dance classes at Judy Conti’s in Austintown; Wednesday, volunteering at Second Harvest Food Bank, 5 to 7 p.m.; Thursday, small talk at the church and scary stories, 7:30 p.m.; Friday, Columbiana Maze Craze, meet at the church at 7 p.m.

SOCIETIES

Mahoning Valley Dahlia Society invites the public to a meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Davis Education Center, Fellows Riverside Gardens, to learn the methods available for storing dahlia tubers for the winter. After a brief business meeting, a hands-on program will cover the digging, dividing and storage of dahlia tubers.

Warren Photographic Society will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the auditorium at the Trumbull Career & Technical Center, 528 Educational Highway, Warren. Anyone interested in photography, regardless of skill level, is encouraged to attend. The meeting will feature tutorials on Photoshop Elements presented by members Jim Winger and Ken Yarwick.

SUPPORT GROUPS

Humility of Mary Health Partners Ostomy Support Group will meet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center, 8401 Market St., Boardman.

Nar-Anon, a 12-step program for relatives and friends who have been adversely affected by a loved one’s addiction to drugs, meets at 7 p.m. Fridays at the Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic, 160 Clifton NE, Howland. For more information call 330-856-3822.

Salem-Lisbon La Leche League, a breast-feeding support group, will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the WIC office, 7876 Lincole Place, Lisbon. VETERANS
