Jamie Serenko, Joseph Fairley to wed Oct. 22

Gene and Laurie Serenko of Boardman and Scott and Rosanne Fairley of Beaver Falls, Pa., are announcing the engagement and upcoming marriage of their children, Jamie Serenko of Boardman and Joseph Fairley of Butler, Pa.

The couple have planned an open ceremony at 2 p.m. Oct. 22 in St. Christine Church, Youngstown, and a late afternoon reception by invitation at Palermo Center at St. Lucy Church, Campbell.

The bride-elect is a physician assistant at PsychMed Associates in New Castle, Pa., after earning a bachelor’s degree in biology from Baldwin-Wallace College and a master’s in physician assistant studies at the University of Mount Union.

The prospective groom is a diamond turning engineer for II-VI Inc. in Saxonburg, Pa., after earning a bachelor’s in physics and chemistry at Baldwin-Wallace.
