Computer classes for senior citizens

NILES

Through the “Connect Ohio” program the state has launched “Every Citizen Online.” The program offers free basic computer and broadband training classes to Ohio adults.

McKinley Memorial Library in Niles is dedicating computer lab time to Niles SCOPE Senior Center to provide seniors the opportunity to take the free class.

Classes will begin Monday at McKinley House Library Computer Lab.

The program runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and includes a workbook. Class size is limited to eight students. Pre-registration is a must.

Additional advanced classes also will be offered by the SCOPE center if students wish to advance their skills. These productivity classes are $10 and are scheduled as needed. Contact SCOPE at 330-544-3676 to register.
