Jury acquits Youngstown man of all charges in 2010 murder


YOUNGSTOWN — A Mahoning County jury today acquitted a 19-year-old man of all charges in the Aug. 6, 2010, shooting death of Anthony Harrison, 20, of Chambers Street, Campbell.

After five hours of deliberations at the end of a 21⁄2-day trial, the jury acquitted Dionte Robinson of Elliot Lane, Youngstown, of murder, attempted murder, felonious assault and tampering with evidence.

The attempted murder and felonious assault charges pertained to a friend of Harrison’s, who was shot in the leg on Tremble Avenue near 13th Street in Campbell.

The trial was before Judge R. Scott Krichbaum of common pleas court.
