Apple butter fest Saturday at church

Woodworth Church of the Brethren, 30 E. Western Reserve Road, at Market Street, will have its annual apple butter festival from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Apple butter will be cooked in a copper kettle over an open fire. Pints and quarts of apple butter will be available for purchase, as well as freshmade apple dumplings, pies, breads and cookies.

The event also will include children’s activities and a bounce-around.
