Youngstown police still have no ID for shooting victim

YOUNGSTOWN — Police still have not been able to identify a man who was shot multiple times Monday on the city’s South Side. The man is still in critical condition, police said.

The man was shot about 9:15 a.m. near the intersection of Ridge Avenue and Thorn Street, according to reports. Paramedics told police the man was verbally unresponsive, but did nod his to answer medical questions, records state. Police said the man was wounded in his chest, throat and left eye.
