Trip to London and Paris marks Salcones’ 50th

Harry Sr. and Patricia Salcone celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to Paris and London on Sept. 6, then a return to the U.S. aboard the Queen Mary II, arriving Sept. 21.

A family dinner on Sept. 24 at Leo’s Ristorante completed their celebration.

The couple have five children, Michelle (Jim) Benich of Cortland; Harry Jr. (Lee) Salcone of Columbus; Angela (Rick) Lorenzi of Vienna, Juliann (Tim) Silker of Howland and Donna (Vince) Barrett of Cortland; and eight grandchildren.

Mr. Salcone and the former Patricia DeNunzio were married Sept. 23, 1961, at St. Mary Church.

Mrs. Salcone recently retired from Notre Dame Schools Blessed Sacrament Campus as director of the after-school program.

Mr. Salcone, who served with the Army in Germany, is retired from Bank One, where he was vice president of mortgage loans.

The couple are members of Blessed Sacrament Church.
