Mass, dinner honor Gabrieles for 60 years

John and Mary Teresa Gabriele of Poland were honored for their 60th wedding anniversary during a Mass Sept. 4 at St. Nicholas Church, Struthers.

A dinner followed at Shakespeare’s restaurant in Ellwood City, Pa., hosted by their children, David (Lori) Gabriele and their children, Lauren, Gina and John W.; and Donald (Judy) and their children, Alexander, Emily and Matthew.

Mr. Gabriele and the former Mary Teresa Barber were married Sept. 3, 1951, at St. Teresa Church in Morgantown, W.Va.

Mr. Gabriele is retired from Dollar Bank and is a professional musician. Mrs. Gabriele is active in charitable and social organizations and is a former CCD teacher.
