Julia’s Bed and Breakfast here was the setting Aug. 13 for the marriage of Erin Melissa Dean of Hubbard, daughter of the Revs. Kerry and Roxanne Dean of Salem, and Craig A. Marks of Austintown, son of Dave and Becky Marks, also of Austintown.

The 11:30 a.m. ceremony was performed by the bride’s father, and a reception followed there before the couple left for a honeymoon on Mexico’s Riviera Maya.

The bride, who is retaining her maiden name, wore a white taffeta side-draped gown featuring a beaded lace and corset back and a chapel-length train.

Her attendants, in watermelon gowns, were Rebecca Thomas Keese, matron of honor; bridesmaids Lindsay Marks Heaton, the groom’s sister, Karen Heiland and Kristy McNally McCoy; and flower girl Chloe S. McCoy, the bride’s goddaughter.

The groom’s son, Tyler J. Marks, served as his best boy; Scott Dicken was best man; and Justin Heaton, the groom’s brother -in-law, Chuck Coristin and David Raghanti were groomsmen.

The bride is a self-employed housekeeper while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing at Mercy College of Northwest Ohio. She also holds a bachelor’s in general studies from Youngstown State University and an associate’s in bible from Valley Forge Christian College.

The groom is a plumber’s assistant for S&S Plumbing in Austintown while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in English at YSU. He also is a graduate of the Pittsburgh Culinary Institute.
