Erdners celebrate 65th anniversary with family dinner

AUSTINTOWN

Kenneth and Virginia Erdner of Austintown were honored with a family dinner Saturday at their home for the occasion of their 65th wedding anniversary.

The celebration was hosted by their children, Nancy and Rich Coleman of Columbia Station, Ohio; Bonny and Mike Tarantino of Canfield; Ken and Lisa Erdner of New London, N.C.; and Ginger and Ron Deuley of Columbus.

The couple also have nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Erdner and the former Virginia Herdon were married Oct. 3, 1946, in Trinity Lutheran Church in Pittsburgh. Mrs. Erdner is a homemaker. Mr. Erdner is a World War II Navy veteran and a retired dispatcher for Conrail Railroad.

The couple are members of Zion Lutheran Church in Cornersburg.
