Making their home in Austintown are A.J. Caraballo and the former Samantha Jay, who exchanged wedding vows July 2 at St. Patrick Church.

The Rev. Edward Noga officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony, and a reception followed at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church hall for the daughter of Leo and Rosie Jay of Boardman and the son of the late Elvis and Jill Caraballo.

The bride wore a satin A-line gown with a ruched waistline, double V-necklines and chapel-length train trailed by a bow.

Her attendants, in varied black tea-length gowns, were her cousin, Erica Beil as maid of honor; her sister, Breanna Jay, and Holly Holt as co-matrons of honor; bridesmaids Ariana Caraballo, the groom’s sister, Stephanie Jay, the bride’s sister-in-law; Marla Davis and Caitlin Beil, the bride’s cousin; junior bridesmaids Lexi Caraballo, the groom’s sister, and Abby Hughes, the bride’s cousin; and flower girl Jessica Hughes, the bride’s cousin.

Ben Cervone was the groom’s best man, and groomsmen were Steven Eisenstatt, the bride’s brother-in-law; Andy Schumaker; Matthew Delahaunty; Eric Jay; the bride’s brother; and Michael and Nicholas Caraballo, the groom’s brothers; and Robbie Conricote.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Youngstown State University. The groom is attending Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Pharmacy.
