Samantha Jo Cope and Benjamin Leslie Muniz were married June 25 at the Cope family farm here. The 5:30 p.m. ceremony was solemnized by the Rev. Mark Thomas and an evening reception followed at Salem Golf Club.
The couple are making their home in Hanoverton after a wedding trip to Mexico.
The bride, a daughter of Robert and Stephanie Cope of Alliance, is a 10th-grade English teacher at United High School in Hanoverton after earning a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Youngstown State University.
The groom, a son of Andrew Chaplow of Kensington and Angela Chaplow of Salem, is a lineman for Ohio Edison in Youngstown after earning an associate degree in electrical engineering from YSU.
The bride’s ivory strapless gown was styled with a sweetheart neckline, trumpet train and tulle and lace overlay adorned with crystals.
Black tea-length gowns were worn by her attendants, Alexandria Cope, her sister, as maid of honor, and bridesmaids Jesi Burkhart, Allison Carroll, Trista Houck and Renee Black.
Best man to the groom was Greg Banner, and groomsmen were his brother, Steven Chaplow, Troy Lindesmith, Dan Janosik and Josh Koon.
