Glow Golf Outing set for Oct. 15

The Boardman-Poland Junior Women’s League is sponsoring a Glow Golf Outing on Oct. 15 at 7:00 p.m. at Knoll Run Golf Course, 1421 Struthers Coitsville Road. The cost is $25 per player with four person teams. The cost includes nine holes of golf and cart, light meal with a cash bar available, 50/50 raffle, Chinese auction and more. The deadline to register is Saturday.

The outing will benefit the league’s Community Special Needs.

Boys golf team falls to Poland

The Canfield boys golf team lost to Poland 161-156. Dom Carano led the Cards with a team-best of 38. Others scoring for Canfield were Joe Benson (39), Adam Bouch (41) and Scott McMurray (43). The Cardinals beat the Falcons 162-175. Dom Carano was the top scorer for Canfield with a 38. Others scoring for Canfield were Will Keffler (41), Adam Bouch (41) and Joe Benson (42).

Varsity track head coach wanted
