Beatitude House accepting Christmas gift donations
YOUNGSTOWN — Every year homeless children living at Beatitude House have an opportunity to pick out a gift for their mom, wrap it and put it under the Christmas tree. This is possible, thanks to donations from the community.
This annual event is quickly approaching, and Beatitude House is seeking donations.
Items can be something practical, such as gloves, socks or dish towels, or something not-so-practical, like a bath set, jewelry or perfume. Beatitude House is not able to accept candles.
Anyone interested in donating to the workshop should take unwrapped gifts to Beatitude House's administrative offices, located at 238 Tod Lane on the campus of St. Edward Church, by Dec. 12. Donations are accepted from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call 330-744-3147 with any questions.
