Man injured when struck by car

A man was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Warren Township.

According to state police, Maria Irving, 30, of Warren was driving eastbound on North River Road around 6 p.m. when her Ford Taurus struck the man.

Police were withholding the victim’s identity Tuesday night, pending notification of family.

The man was taken to an area hospital.

Police said the accident is under investigation and no one had been cited as of Tuesday night.
