Wean Foundation seeks input for naming room

Staff report

WARREN

The Raymond John Wean Foundation is seeking creative suggestions to name the community meeting room that will be part of the foundation’s new home under construction on West Market Street on Warren’s Courthouse Square.

As many entries can be submitted as desired, and each entrant will be placed in a drawing to win a $50 gift card from the Mocha House restaurant on High Street Northeast.

The meeting room, which will be on the first floor, will have up to 120 people for conferences, meetings and events and will have a licensed catering kitchen (sorry, no weddings or parties).

The room is a large, open space allowing for any number of seating and event configurations. There will be audio-visual and sound equipment for presentations of varying kinds.

The foundation expects to use the meeting room for its own functions, nonprofit and civic groups, schools and others to bring people and organizations together to share information, develop solutions and plans to address community issues, and build a stronger civic life in the Mahoning Valley.

Send ideas to “Name That Room” at the following email address: ccrooks@rjweanfdn.org by Dec. 9. Include your name and contact information.
