Seeking re-election

YOUNGSTOWN

Anthony Vivo filed his petitions Monday at the board of elections for re-election as Mahoning County clerk of courts in the March 6 Democratic primary. Vivo, 53, of Boardman, who has been clerk of courts since 1994, filed 118 petition signatures. He needs at least 50 valid signatures from registered Democratic county voters to qualify for the ballot.

Vivo said he is seeking re-election because his health has improved since a blood-clotting disorder kept him off the job for four months in 2010.
