Library offers holiday reading countdown

EAST PALESTINE

A holiday reading program for children through age 12 is being offered at the East Palestine Memorial Public Library.

“Countdown to Christmas” runs through Dec. 23 for children who want to read 12 library books. Readers who complete 12 books, or have the books read to them, will earn a prize (limit of one prize per participant).

Church takes orders for Smart Choice Food

New Hope United Methodist Church, 21 Fairview Ave., is a host site for Smart Choice Food Source. Boxes range in price from $14 to $35 and include meat and pasta.

There are no income restrictions or guidelines.

Preorder and prepay with cash, money orders or an Ohio Direction Card.

Orders for December will be accepted from 11 a.m. to noon Nov. 30; from 7 to 8 p.m. Dec. 1; and from 3 to 4 p.m. Dec. 3., when Ohio Direction Cards will be accepted.

Distribution of food will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Dec.17. For more information call 330-652-3625.
