Dustin D. Diamond, 19, of East Federal Street, and a juvenile male were charged with misdemeanor criminal trespass after they were arrested on Dragon Drive at 6:08 a.m. Sunday for allegedly breaking into a car.

The car’s owner called police, saying he caught the two men breaking into the car.

As officers were arriving, the juvenile ran away from the victim and was seen running inside a fenced-in construction area near Niles McKinley High School and taken into custody.

The juvenile said he was walking with Diamond and didn’t do anything. He was released to his mother.

Man reports theft

A resident of East Woodland Avenue told police he caught a male juvenile in the living room of his home when he arrived at 5:42 p.m. Saturday. The juvenile ran out the back of the apartment, jumped a fence and entered a waiting vehicle parked in front of 39 Ardmore Court. The victim reported a laptop computer and other items missing.
