Jessica Simon, Dr. Carl Peterson to wed in N.Y.C.

POLAND

The parents of Jessica Simon of Rochester, N.Y., are announcing the engagement of their daughter to Dr. Carl Peterson, also of Rochester. The bride-elect is the daughter of Alex and Tina Simon of Poland. The prospective groom is the son of C.R. and Linda Peterson of Salem.

Plans have been made for a 2 p.m. ceremony Dec. 9 at Church of St. Ignatius Loyola in New York City. The couple will receive congratulations at an evening reception in their honor at The Plaza. Invitations are being extended for both events.

Miss Simon graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance. She earned a master’s degree in business administration from Case Western Reserve University and a juris doctor degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. She is a licensed CPA employed as corporate counsel for Simon Roofing in Boardman.

Dr. Peterson graduated from Case Western Reserve with a degree in biology and chemistry and earned a combined M.D., M.S. from the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. He is a second-year resident physician in the James P. Wilmont Cancer Center at the University of Rochester.
