Event will light up holiday season

MERCER, PA.

A community tree lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. Dec. 5 will kick of the holiday season at the Courthouse Bandstand.

Carolers and Santa will provide holiday spirit, and gift certificates for a turkey, for a ham and to a grocery store will be raffled off for $2 per ticket.

The deadline to donate for the Raffle Basket has been extended to Dec. 16.

Tickets cost $5 each.
