UPMC auxiliaries plan tree-lighting events

UPMC Horizon Greenville and Shenango Valley auxiliaries will welcome the holiday season with tree-lighting ceremonies.

The “Remembrance Tree” will be lighted at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 3 in the cafeteria of Shenango Valley campus. For a $5 donation, a loved one’s name may be placed on the tree.

“Memories in Lights” begins at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 5 in the Garden of Life at the Greenville campus, which faces North Main Street, then moves to the hospital lobby for refreshments and entertainment.

Light sponsorships are $7 each. Anyone wishing to hang a personalized angel on the tree should arrive at 5 p.m.
