LEWISVILLE, TEXAS
Amy Beth Gaskill of Flower Mound, Texas, and Brian James Dettmer of Grapevine, Texas, formerly of Canfield, exchanged wedding vows in a 5 p.m. ceremony Oct. 1 at Landmark Church in Lewisville.
A reception followed at the Royal Affairs Ballroom in Lewisville for the daughter of Jack and Beth Gaskill of Flower Mound, formerly of Boardman, and the son of Ralph and Margie McClure of Boardman.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Richard Plunk and the Rev. Matthew Gaskill, the bride’s brother.
The bride’s gown was organza and tulle and featured a jeweled waistband, cathedral train and Swarovski-beaded, cathedral-length veil.
Wearing hunter green were the bride’s attendants. Candice Wydner was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Ashton Smith, Ashley Adams and Rebekah Graham. Kaitlyn Bailey was flower girl.
Keith Dettmer was best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Kevin Dettmer, the groom’s brother; the Rev. Mr. Gaskill; and Nathanael Wydner. Communion servers were the Rev. Kyle Embry, the Rev. Jeff Long, the Rev. Greg Ferguson and the Rev. Jamie Howard.
The bride graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications and public relations from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Fla. She is Texas marketing and event coordinator for MarineMax Boats in Lewisville.
The groom is a regional marketing manager for Texas Roadhouse in Flower Mound.
After a honeymoon cruise in the Western Caribbean, the couple will live in Grapevine.
