Wedding vows were exchanged July 30 at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Youngstown by Allison Giannini and Aaron Moran, both of Austintown.
The afternoon ceremony was performed by The Rev. Joseph Rudjak for the daughter of Angelo and Kathleen Giannini and the son of Patty Moran, all of Austintown, and the late Edward Moran. A reception took place at Antone’s Banquet Centre in Boardman.
The bride wore an ivory taffeta ball gown, which featured a strapless sweetheart bodice with ruching and beaded embroidery, a crystal beaded bow on the side and a chapel train.
Meghan Giannini, the bride’s sister, was maid of honor. She wore watermelon pink, as did bridesmaids Laura Revetti, the bride’s cousin; Sarah Moran, the groom’s sister; and Christine Wentz, Christina Pacurar, Gloria Stack, Lisa Malcomson and Alana Kady. Flower girl was Maria Malcomson.
Serving as best man was Aaron Kessler. Groomsmen were Timothy Vincent, Andrew Kempe, Christopher Wentz, Matthew Schmied, James Banfield, Michael DeToro and Ryan Banfield. Joseph Revetti, the bride’s cousin, was usher.
The bride, a social studies teacher with Columbiana Exempted Village School District, earned a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Youngstown State University. She is pursuing her master’s in education administration.
The groom, who teaches eighth-grade social studies at Lakeview Local Schools in Cortland, earned bachelor’s degrees in history from Muskingum University and in secondary education from YSU.
The couple, who honeymooned in Hawaii, live in Austintown.
