Miss Snyder, Mr. Chen plan spring wedding

Terry and Sheila Snyder of Hubbard are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Sherry Beth Snyder of Evanston, Ill, to George Chen, also of Evanston.

The late afternoon wedding will take place April 28, 2012 at Wyndham Bay Point Resort in Panama City Beach, Fla. The couple’s reception will follow the ceremony at the same location. Invitations will be issued for both.

The bride-elect graduated from the University of Nevada with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She is a senior internal auditor at Northwestern University in Evanston.

The prospective groom earned a degree in biomedical engineering from Northwestern University, Evanston. He is a clinical trial manager for Takeda Pharmaceuticals in Deerfield, Ill.
