Jeff and Rosemary Heckman of Boardman are announcing the engagement and coming marriage of their daughter, Stephanie Heckman, to Jason Cuddy of Boardman.

The parents of the prospective groom, Robert and Karen Cuddy, reside in Poland.

The couple have planned a December ceremony by invitation at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Park. The reception, also by invitation, will take place at The Embassy in Youngstown.

Miss Heckman is a kindergarten teacher with Austintown Local Schools after graduating from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in early childhood education.

Mr. Cuddy is vice president of research and development at Via680 in Youngstown after earning a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from YSU.
