A robber got away with $130 Sunday from the Dollar General on 501 Churchill Road after simulating to cashiers that he had a gun in his sweater pocket.

According to police records, the robber was a white male wearing a blue bandana and a black hooded sweatshirt.

He had departed the scene by the time police arrived, the report said.

Police later found a black hooded sweatshirt in the grass in front of Prospect Intermediate School less than a mile away at 700 East Prospect St.
