MAHONING COUNTY

Easter Seals offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays at eight locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance. Transportation is available for those 60 or older; call 330-884-2511 to set up. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, Nov. 23: Turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, sweet potatoes, bread with margarine, cloud cake, sugar-free cookie and milk.

Thursday, Nov. 24: Happy Thanksgiving

Friday, Nov. 25: Office closed; extra meals delivered.

Saturday, Nov. 26: Ham, bun, tossed salad, carrot raisin salad, orange, gelatin cup and milk.

Monday, Nov. 28: Chicken leg, spudsters, mixed veggies, unsweetened pineapple, bread, cloud cake, sugar-free cookie and milk.

Tuesday, Nov. 29: Pulled pork, bun, collard greens, sweet potatoes, unsweetened peaches, gelatin, fresh apple and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.50 per meal.

Wednesday, Nov. 23: Turkey with mashed potatoes, gravy and dressing, creamed corn, hamburger bun, pineapple tidbits and milk.

Thursday, Nov. 24: Happy Thanksgiving.

Friday, Nov. 25: Closed

Monday, Nov. 28: Meatball splash on a bun, rice pilaf, peas, peaches, golden apple and milk.

Tuesday, Nov. 29: Creamed chicken, mashed potatoes, California mix, corn muffin, mandarin oranges and milk.
