Three local authors will visit the Poland Public Library, 311 S. Main St., on Dec. 1 to sign copies of their books.

Salineville resident Connie Randolph will sign copies of her children’s book “The Wagging Tails of Casper Joe; Book Two” from 6 to 8 p.m.

At 6:30 p.m., Janet L. DeCesare of Mineral Ridge will be available to sign her book, “Ticked Off,” about her struggles with Lyme disease.

Also, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Michele Giannetti, R.N., of Canfield will sign her book, “I Believe in You; A Mother and Daughter’s Special Journey.” The book chronicles her journey with her daughter’s diagnosis of dyspraxia and sensory-processing disorder.

Detective-novel author to appear at church

NEW MIDDLETOWN

Brian Douglas, a New Middletown native, will appear for a book signing from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 4 at his church, Old Springfield, on Route 170 between Columbiana Road and South Range Road.

His book, “Gone in the Blink of an Eye,” is a detective novel published by Black Rose Writing, www.blackrosewritingbooks.com.

The book can be purchased there, at Amazon, Barnes & Noble or at the signing.

Moffie announces release of 5th novel

YOUNGSTOWN

Sam Moffie, author of four award-winning novels, announces that his fifth novel, “To Kill the Duke,” will be released Dec. 1 in Kindle and hard-copy versions.

The novel brings together a Russian spy squad, Hollywood movie stars and the film “The Conquerer,” which is the subject of controversy because of the number of stars and crew members who developed cancer after shooting. The movie site was St. George, Utah, near where nuclear testing had been conducted.

The book’s publisher is CreateSpace, and its sells for $14.99 in paperback, $7.99 in the Kindle version.
